Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground pork
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 5 cloves garlic
- 0.5 whole onion
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 8 oz rice vermicelli
- 0.5 head lettuce
- 1 bunch fresh herbs
- 1 whole cucumber
- 1 whole carrots
- 0.25 whole daikon radish
- 0.5 cup peanuts
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 0.5 cup water
Instructions
- Mince garlic and onion
- Mix ground pork, fish sauce, garlic, onion, and brown sugar
- Form into patties or small balls
- Grill or pan-fry until cooked through
- Cook rice vermicelli until soft, drain and cool
- Make pickled vegetables from carrots and daikon
- Prepare dipping sauce: fish sauce, lime juice, water, and minced garlic
- Chop fresh herbs
- Slice cucumber and lettuce
- In serving bowls, place vermicelli as base
- Top with grilled pork, lettuce, herbs, vegetables
- Drizzle with dipping sauce
- Top with crushed peanuts
- Serve immediately
