Chicken Paprikash

Ingredients
- 1000 g chicken thighs
- 3 large onion
- 3 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 500 ml chicken broth
- 200 g sour cream
- 50 g butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp caraway seeds
Instructions
- Cut chicken thighs into large pieces, pat dry
- Slice onions thinly
- Melt butter in large pot, sauté onions until soft and beginning to caramelize
- Add chicken, brown lightly on all sides
- Reduce heat, add paprika and tomato paste, stir for 1 minute
- Add chicken broth and caraway seeds
- Bring to simmer, cover and cook for 30-35 minutes until chicken is tender
- Mix flour with small amount of water to make paste
- Stir flour paste into stew to thicken slightly
- Remove from heat, stir in sour cream (don't boil after adding sour cream)
- Season with salt and pepper, serve over egg noodles
