Gangmyeon (Korean Spicy Noodles with Seafood)

Ingredients
- 1 lb wheat noodles
- 1 lb seafood mix (shrimp, squid, mussels)
- 1 whole onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp gochugaru
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 2 cups water
- 2 stalks scallions
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook noodles until just tender, drain
- Slice onion and mince garlic
- Heat sesame oil in large pot
- Sauté garlic and onion for 1 minute
- Add gochujang and cook 1 minute
- Add water and bring to boil
- Add seafood and cook 5 minutes
- Add cooked noodles
- Season with soy sauce, sugar, and salt
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Slice scallions
- Serve in bowl
- Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds
