Jamón Ibérico con Melón

Ingredients

  • 300 g Jamón Ibérico (Serrano ham)
  • 1 whole Cantaloupe or honeydew melon
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 to taste Salt

Instructions

  1. Cut melon in half and remove seeds.
  2. Cut melon into thin wedges and remove rind.
  3. Slice jamón very thinly (ask butcher to slice if possible).
  4. Arrange melon wedges on a serving platter.
  5. Drape jamón slices over melon.
  6. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Serve immediately at room temperature.
