Ingredients
- 600 g ground lamb
- 1 large onion
- 50 g parsley
- 25 g mint
- 50 g bread crumbs
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tsp cumin
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Finely chop onion, parsley, and mint
- Combine ground lamb with chopped vegetables, bread crumbs, and egg
- Add cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and pepper
- Mix thoroughly until mixture is sticky and holds together
- Shape into oblong patties or mold onto skewers
- Brush with olive oil and grill over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes per side
- Meat should be cooked through with slightly charred exterior
- Serve in pita with salad, yogurt sauce, and grilled onions
