Maki Sushi (Cucumber Roll)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 sheets nori sheets
  • 2 whole cucumber
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp wasabi
  • 2 tbsp pickled ginger

Instructions

  1. Prepare sushi rice with vinegar, sugar, and salt
  2. Place nori on bamboo mat
  3. Spread thin layer of rice on nori
  4. Arrange thin cucumber slices in center
  5. Roll tightly using mat
  6. Slice into 8 pieces with wet knife
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  8. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger
