Manti

Ingredients

  • 200 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 whole egg
  • 100 ml water
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 200 g ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 200 g yogurt
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic

Instructions

  1. Make dough with flour, egg, water, and salt, rest 30 minutes
  2. Mix ground beef with minced onion and paprika
  3. Roll dough thin, cut into small squares
  4. Place small amount of meat filling in center of each square
  5. Fold into triangles and then bring corners together to form pouches
  6. Boil manti in salted water for 15-20 minutes until they float and are tender
  7. Mix yogurt with minced garlic
  8. Combine tomato paste with melted butter
  9. Drain manti, arrange in serving dish
  10. Top with garlic yogurt, then drizzle with tomato butter sauce
  11. Sprinkle with paprika and serve hot
