Ingredients
- 500 ml milk
- 2 tbsp sahlep powder
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp nutmeg
- 30 g pistachios
Instructions
- Mix sahlep powder with 100ml milk to form smooth paste
- Heat remaining milk with sugar to just below boiling
- Slowly add sahlep paste to hot milk, stirring constantly
- Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold milk to prevent lumps
- Add cornstarch mixture, continue stirring until thick and creamy
- Pour into serving cups
- Top with cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped pistachios
- Serve hot as warming winter drink
