Ingredients
- 800 g lamb shoulder
- 2 large onion
- 2 whole bell pepper
- 2 whole tomato
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 8 whole metal skewers
Instructions
- Cut lamb into 3cm cubes
- Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper
- Marinate lamb for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight
- Cut onions into large chunks, peppers and tomatoes into quarters
- Thread lamb, onions, peppers, and tomatoes onto metal skewers
- Grill over hot charcoal or high heat for 12-15 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes
- Meat should be cooked through with charred exterior
- Serve with rice pilaf, grilled vegetables, and fresh bread
