Tabbouleh (Turkish Version)

Ingredients
- 150 g bulgur wheat
- 250 ml hot water
- 100 g parsley
- 50 g mint
- 3 medium tomato
- 1 medium onion
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Pour hot water over bulgur, cover, rest 20 minutes
- Fluff with fork, cool to room temperature
- Finely chop parsley and mint
- Dice tomato and onion
- Combine bulgur with herbs and vegetables
- Whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper
- Toss salad with dressing, chill for 1 hour
- Serve with pita bread
