- 3 medium carrots
- 1 large onion
- 4 medium potatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato paste or sauce
- 1.5 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 cloves garlic
- bay leaves
- 3 tbsp fresh dill
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley

- rye or wheat bread
