Tzatziki

Ingredients

  • 500 g greek yogurt
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Grate cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using paper towels
  2. Mince garlic very finely or use garlic press
  3. Fold grated cucumber and minced garlic into greek yogurt
  4. Add fresh dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper
  5. Stir well to combine, refrigerate for at least 1 hour
  6. Taste and adjust seasonings before serving
  7. Serve chilled with vegetables, pita, or grilled meats
