Ingredients
- 2 cups well-fermented idli/dosa batter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1-2 green chilli, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
- Oil or ghee as needed
- Salt if needed
Instructions
- Adjust batter to dosa-like pouring consistency if too thick
- Mix onion, tomato, chilli, coriander in a bowl
- Heat tawa, grease lightly
- Pour thick ladle of batter (slightly thicker than dosa, smaller circle)
- Quickly sprinkle topping mixture over surface and press lightly
- Drizzle oil around sides and cook on medium until bottom is golden
- Flip and cook other side until onions are lightly browned
- Serve with coconut chutney and sambar
