Ingredients
- 8 pieces chicken thighs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 stalks scallions
Instructions
- Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper
- Toss chicken in flour mixture
- Heat oil to 350°F
- Fry chicken in batches for 12-15 minutes until golden
- Drain on paper towels
- In small saucepan, mix gochujang, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and butter
- Heat until combined and glossy
- Toss fried chicken in sauce
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions
- Serve immediately
